   I don’t agree with datum711′s dismissive attitude towards Asian athletes (Park Ji-Sung is awesome), but FIFA 2002 probably isn’t the best example. They made it far, but they also played really dirty. They were openly elbowing, shoving, kicking and stomping opponents, and yet somehow were hardly ever booked. I don’t buy into the whole “They were co-hosts so they bought the refs out” conspiracy, but am still amazed they reached the quarter finals with enough players left to actually play.
